Dear Family and Friends, 

My travel baseball team, Laguna Niguel Lightning, teammates and I have been working hard to become the most competitive team we can be. Our outstanding coaches have sacrificed their time and effort to grow every one of us into not only amazing baseball players, but kind, respectful and generous members of our community. 

I am reaching out to you because we are holding a golf tournament fundraiser to support our team’s goal of traveling to Cooperstown NY to play in one of the world's most prestigious youth baseball tournaments! This upcoming June our team will be traveling to Cooperstown, the home of the MLB Hall of Fame, to play in a tournament against teams from all over the country. This tournament is only open to 12U teams and we would love to help fund this trip for our team families in need as well as our wonderful coaches! 

About the Fundraiser: 

Laguna Niguel Lightning Baseball Club invite you to join us at Tijeras Creek Country Club on Saturday, April 1st, 2023 for our 6th annual charity golf tournament. You don't need to be a serious golfer - or a golfer at all - to come have more fun than should be allowed on a golf course! The event will include a 9-hole, 4-man, 5-clubs per team, scramble golf tournament, and other games of skill and athleticism, incredible sponsor gift bag and tee prizes, and an evening festival (spouses included), with music, drinks, food, and entertainment.  The event is one part golf and two parts FUN! The not required but encouraged baseball theme, dress in your favorite old school baseball team/player will make this event truly unique and one to remember for the boys and all those that are involved!

There are several ways to contribute!

1. Sign up to play golf - we have a great day planned at the beautiful Tijeras Creek Golf Club!  SIGN UP HERE 

2. Become a tee sponsor, contest sponsor, or lunch sponsor - get great exposure on our event website, on our Lightning website and at our tournament!  SPONSOR HERE 

3. Make a donation and be automatically entered in our Helicopter Golf Ball Drop for a chance to win up to $1,000!!!  DONATE HERE TO ENTER!
